Rainbow Bay Lodge, located 180 miles from the nearest major road, is a remote and luxurious rustic fishing lodge sitting on the shores of Lake Iliamna in Southwest Alaska’s Bristol Bay watershed. Rainbow Bay Lodge is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2014 under new ownership. Jerry and Karen Pippin who originally built the lodge in 1984 and have operated it the last 29 years, are still on-site as part of the new ownership group. Their 30 years of experience fishing the remote streams and lakes of Southwest Alaska's Bristol Bay watershed offer an experience unequaled in this part of Alaska.

The Lodge offers specialized remote angling adventures for small groups of 12 to 18 clients per week from early June through late September each year. Our daily fishing trips utilize our three planes equipped with either floats or tundra wheels for fly outs as well as our jet boats which allow us to access some of the most remote areas in southwest Alaska for five species of Pacific Salmon from Cook Inlet to the Bering Sea, the huge rainbow trout and Arctic char this region is known for, as well as Grayling & trophy northern pike. We also utilize our 55 ‘ sport fisher on the western side of Cook Inlet for day and overnight Halibut & Salmon trips.
